This position reports directly to:
Vice-President, Business Solutions and Networks.

CHALLENGES WE OFFER

  • By gaining strong understanding of all aspects of the business including Sales, Administration, Production/Freight, Nutrition, Customer Service, Procurement, IVS and Impact Solutions, plan a strong financial improvement (either new income or an expense efficiency) for the business ;
  • Closely engage with clients, consultants, and employee to ensure high retention ;
  • Lead financial performance of business through effective business planning, execution, and collaboration with direct reports ;
  • Develop budgets with Finance Manager that leverage market opportunities ;
  • Implement expense management initiatives, which maximize return on investments ;
  • Set business goals and objectives along with personal development plans for all direct reports through the PMDP planning program ;
  • Provide general direction to managers and business partners within Sollio West and Sollio Ag's organization as it pertains to the business activities of Sollio Livestock West ;
  • Ensure the sustainability of the company by maintaining compliance with all applicable Corporate, Industry and Government Laws and guidelines ;
  • Pursue efficiencies and synergistic improvements for this business through all affiliated businesses where applicable ;
  • Influence a strong working relationship among peers within Sollio Agriculture through effective, ongoing communication and interaction;
  • Represent the Company with related industry associations;
  • Deliver the Sales Consultant recognition program ;
  • Seek new opportunities for the business to grow within its trading jurisdiction ;
  • Maintain Client Loyalty Program, visiting clients at there place of business and establish/maintain longterm trusting relationships;
  • Manage a strong relationship with leaders of Impact and IVS building a trusting relationship.

YOU FIT THE FOLLOWING PROFILE

  • You must have 5 to10 years experience in a related management position ;
  • You have a degree or diploma in Business Administration or in Agriculture (an asset) ;
  • You have strong communication skills ;
  • You are good at solving problems ;
  • You have the experience and the ability of managing people successfully ;
  • You can travel across Canada, when needed.
