The Hilton Toronto/Markham Suites Conference Centre & Spa is seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual to join our team as a Banquet Server.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serves all food and beverage items in a timely and friendly manner
Communicates with guests to ensure satisfaction with both the food and service.
Clears the tables and room at the end of the function, including all side trays and side stands as per the set standards.
Consistently offers friendly, professional and exceptional guest service.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Graduate of a postsecondary hospitality program is considered an asset
Must be Smart Serve Certified for Ontario
1 to 2 years of previous food & beverage service experience is required
Must possess a passion for customer service and the ability to exceed customer expectations.
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, meeting strict deadlines.
Ability to work with mínimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
Ability to work cohesively as a part of a team.
Appearance must be neat, clean and well groomed as per Hilton standards.
Must have a good command of the English language.
Physical demands: constant standing and walking, frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs, frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling and lifting.
