_ What you will be accountable for_

  • Supervising and participating in fullcycle accounting including journal entries, accounts payable, invoicing, collections, bank reconciliation, payroll processing, account reconciliation, and remittances.
  • Issuing monthly financial statements and regular project reports.
  • Preparing yearend working papers for external accountants.
  • Ongoing management of project database for completeness and accuracy.
  • Supervising, coaching, and performance management of finance team members.
  • Developing and enhancing standard operating procedures for all facets of the finance operations.
  • Maintaining companywide understanding of finance policies and procedures by conducting regular information sessions.
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective daytoday operations.
  • Support the Chief Financial Officer with profitability analysis, KPI development, budget development and systems improvement projects.

_ What do you need to have_

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in the same or similar capacity in a reputable organization.
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills with a track record of driving business results
  • Indepth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and BC/Canadian tax laws.
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities, capable of influencing and inspiring others
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic financial planning and decision support
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.

  • Experience in payroll, project management, Sage ERP software, and database management is considered an asset.

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):Frequent standing and walking, Occasional bending, kneeling, carrying, and lifting.


Visa Requirements:
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. Currently, we do not assist in securing Canadian work authorization or visa sponsorship.
