Administrative Assistant

Term: Full-time, Permanent_
Salary:
$29.00 an hour for 40 hours a week.
Benefits:

Schedule: 8- hours per day / Monday to Friday
Desired Experience and Qualifications
- Postsecondary education diploma or a degree is desirable
- 3 years to less than 5 years of administrative assistance
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail, focus on accuracy and maintain quality while working to deadlines
- Organize and delegate employee schedule including schedule location of crews
- Familiarity with quotes, purchase orders, bills of materials, invoices, etc.
- Competence with MS Word, Excel and Project (Visio and PowerPoint a plus).
- Strong leadership, planning, coordination, organization, timemanagement abilities.
- Ability to work analytically in a problemsolving environment.
- Business acumen with a customer service focus.
- Able to do Power Point Presentations for clients
- Visit worksites to coordinate schedules for employees related to upcoming projects.
- Schedule the engineering board for drawings & engineering inspections.
- Provide assistance with fleet vehicle management.
- Schedule company trucks for servicing and document mileage.
- Experience with site safety paperwork & documentation is considered an asset
- Effectively interface with customers and internal project stakeholders project managers, purchasing & project management.
- Assist in employee onboarding and orientations.
- Required to travel within the Lower Mainland area at various job sites.
- Valid driver's license
- Travel expenses covered by the employer.
