Cambridge Suites Hotel Halifax is looking for an energetic, hardworking, positive team player who has a passion for service and enhancing a customer experience to join our team as a server.
Duties:
- Opening and closing a restaurant for the dinner: turning on the lights, setting up cutlery and dishes
- Greeting guests and sitting them
- Serving food and beverages and maintaining tables while meals and meetings are taking place
- Ensuring that all guests' service needs are addressed in a friendly, timely and professional manner
- Other duties could include: general clean up and tidying of restaurant areas such as putting away linen, maintaining catering storage areas, preparing equipment & polishing cutlery
- Delivering food service at the hotel
- Catering during functions and events
Requirements:
- Mature, wellgroomed and professional
- Able to handle the physical demands of the position
- Flexible to work shift work, including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication skills
- Energetic team player
- Able to work with mínimal supervision
Salary:
$15.00 per hour
