    Description

    Job Description:

    Location: Inniskillin Estate WineryArterra Wines Canada is currently seeking Line Cooks (multiple positions) to join our culinary team.

    The Line Cooks will work alongside a skilled team to prepare and serve daily meals and private events.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Prepare a variety of food items for cooking using different kitchen equipment
    • Complete daily opening, closing, and cleaning tasks as instructed by the winery chef
    • Adhere to portion sizes, cooking methods, and quality standards
    • Maintain adequate food levels at stations for smooth service
    • Portion food products according to recipes
    • Keep workstations clean and organized
    • Follow plate presentation and garnishing guidelines
    • Handle, store, and rotate products correctly
    • Assist with food prep during slow periods
    • Participate in kitchen closure tasks
    • Attend employee meetings and provide improvement suggestions
    • Perform other duties as assigned
    Qualifications:
    • Minimum 2 years of kitchen preparation and cooking experience
    • At least 6 months of similar capacity experience
    • Effective communication skills
    • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods
