Position Overview

A successful Desjardins Agent is seeking a qualified professional to join a winning team for the role of Insurance Customer Service Representative - Desjardins Agent Team Member.

Main responsibilities

Establishes personalized telephone contact with the client. Creates a climate of trust conducive to the sale of a home or auto insurance policy. Educates and advises our clients on our products, while adhering to the company's underwriting policies.
Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies including updates to client records and databases with personnel, financial and other data
Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to and advising clients regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverage, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
Work in a fastpaced and highvolume environment with multi tasking skills and attention to detail
Cross sell company products to clients and make recommendations
Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
Use a customerfocused, needsbased review process to educate customers about insurance options.
Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day.

Requirements:

OTL General License OR RIBO
Must complete before hiring.
English and one of Urdu/Hindi Speaking Preferred
Proficient in

Microsoft Office:
Word, Excel and Outlook

Sales experience preferred but not required
Excellent communication, written, verbal and listening skills
Selfmotivated, goal oriented and enthusiastic
Willingness to learn, hold the right attitude, and work as a team player
Ability to successfully complete LLQP license/exam (life insurance)
