    Our office in Niagara Falls, Ontario, is looking for a detail oriented, organized, and dependable Billing Clerk to join our finance team.

    Reporting to the Accounting Operations Manager, the Billing Clerk will perform various activities in the billing department, including data entry, information verification and bill generation.

    This position will also be responsible for generating reports and conducting research to aid in the investigation of billing discrepancies, while also responding to customer and Project Manager inquiries regarding bills as required.

    Set up of jobs from a billing perspective, including the entry of labour rates, cost codes, material markups into billing system.

    Review contracts to determine billing requirements.
    Co-ordinate with Project Managers to provide individual job reporting requirements for billing.
    Data entry of any required information for billing.
    Review and/or prepare billing summary in Microsoft Excel.
    Prepare paperless billing by adding text, pages, combining files.
    Pricing field and shop material and labour as required.
    Work with other departments to gather information for billing and improve processes and workflow.
    Fox Limited safety policy/procedures, ISO 18001 standards and OHSA requirements.
    2-3 years' experience in accounting/finance environment
    ~ Successful completion of a college or university level business or accounting program is considered an asset.
    ~ Accounting knowledge required - an added knowledge in the construction industry knowledge is considered an asset.
    ~ Intermediate Microsoft Office including Excel and Word.
    ~ Speed and accuracy of computerized data input.
