Adamson Systems Engineering is a vertically integrated, mixed-mode manufacturer with an extensive range of modern production technologies located in beautiful Port Perry, Ontario. Adamson manufactures high-end live performance audio equipment for concerts and on-stage performances worldwide.

Joining the Production Management team, the ERP Specialist will support the Scheduling and Purchasing teams by creating and closing work orders, communicating KPIs to the production lead hands, advising of incoming material shortages and working to improve the visibility of operations through our ERP system.

Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Resolve material shortages quickly in order of priority
  • Maintain and adjust priority of purchase orders against inventory to ensure smooth production flow
  • Compare invoices against purchase orders, shipping and receiving documents to verify receipt of items ordered and billing accuracy
  • Interact with suppliers
  • Assist in the development of ERP to enhance Production and Purchasing process flow
  • Ensure customer and company needs are aligned
  • Participate in inventory maintenance and reconciliation as it pertains to production scheduling
  • Perform related duties as required

Minimum Requirements:


  • College or University degree/diploma in a related field with a minimum of 12 years of experience in an ERP Manufacturing environment
  • Minimum of 1 years in MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and scheduling (Optimizing manufacturing sequences) with ERP Software
  • Experience with Software systems such as open ERP, SAP, MS Dynamics GP, Netsuite, Epicor, SAGE or any other recognized ERP system
  • Advanced MS Excel Spreadsheet software and MS Word Processing software.
  • Experience working in a Lean manufacturing or other similar environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
