Product Owner - Québec, Canada - Fairstone
Description
The Product Owner role is to be the voice of the customer; the product representative working with the agile scrum teams to answer and make tactical decisions for the development of the product.
The Product Owner will work very closely with Product Manager to understand the product strategy and roadmap and to translate user requirements into actionable stories that the scrum team can work on.
The Product Owner will also work as a bridge between the development team and the business stakeholders, and continuously look to add value to the organization through product increments.
RESPONSABILIITES:
- Works closely with Product Manager to understand and contribute to the strategic product roadmap
- Transforms requirements into actionable user stories
- Leads solutioning with the collaboration of Product Manager, scrum team and SMEs
- Attends daily standups and other SCRUM ceremonies
- Works with scrum teams in being the voice of the customer and making tactical product decisions
- Grooms and refines product backlog
- Escalates development/product issues as required
- Provides testing results approval
- Communicates the deployment of product increments to relevant teams
WHAT WE REQUIRE:
- Knowledge of the Agile Scrum framework 13 years experience in technology or business analysis
- Ability to understand and translate user requirements into technicallysound stories
- Critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Working knowledge of Atlassian's JIRA and Confluence
- University or College degree an asset
- Bilingualism an asset

The position is based in our Canadian head-office situated in downtown Montreal and we have a hybrid working model.
