Job Summary


The Administrative Clerk is responsible for liaising between our customers and our warehouse staff, utilizing communications, professional business conduct and the use of all of our customers' Warehouse Management Systems.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Take care of signing in & out the drivers at the window, answers incoming calls
  • Certify arrival of bonded cargo to trigger Canada Customs Release [WACM, RNS]
  • Provide highest level of customer service
  • Update shipping records for Air Import and Ocean Cargo shipments.
  • Filing and Record keeping for both Air Imports and Ocean Cargo shipments
  • Prepare Monthly Report for Incoming Ocean Import Containers.
  • Coordinates with Air Import staff on customers related request on shipments pick up and COD payments
  • Order office supplies when needed
  • Inventory control
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, objectives and business ethics
  • Various other tasks as may be required

Qualifications

  • 12 years' experience in a similar role
  • Some accounting knowledge


  • Computer knowledge

  • Windows, AS400, Descartes RNS system, Lotus notes,
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior organizational skills & strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fastpaced environment

Education/Certifications

  • High School diploma or greater
  • WHMIS Training
  • TDG Certificate is an asset
