We are currently looking for an energetic, hard-working
Production Technician to work part-time permanent in our Concentrates department on our Day shift (Tuesday to Thursday 6:00-16:00) at our Alliston
facility.

Starting wage is
$29.85/hour plus applicable shift premium. We offer an Employee Stock Purchasing Plan, Defined contribution pension plan and medical/dental benefits on your first day

The following are dress/gowning requirements:
safety glasses, safety shoes, ear plugs, jumpsuit, hood, hairnet, beard cover, gloves, isolation mask and boots (additional PPE required when cleaning)

  • Constant or intermittent exposure to elevated levels of noise
  • Involves working around equipment, machinery, and belts

What You'll Be Doing
The Concentrates Technician will take on a more technical role to manage the increased complexity of the equipment. Repair, set up and operate Concentrates Equipment for optimum performance. Supervise all equipment related to Concentrates to ensure proper functioning and safe operation.

In addition, the Concentrates Technician will perform Concentrates operator/MH duties.


Employees will be assessed throughout the program and their job performance to ensure they are successfully learning the vital skills and qualifications.

In order to achieve this, we will be partnering with local educational institutions to develop and implement a comprehensive training program for operators to successfully troubleshoot, maintain and set up the equipment.


Duties performed daily:

  • Warehouse acquire packing materials, shrink wrap skids and return to warehouse, and operate carton former and taping equipment.
  • Setup maintain and troubleshoot carton forming, taping equipment, palletizer, box machine, inspection station, fill line and filler
  • Line Operations include loading empty bottles, inspect and pack filled bottles into cartons or gaylords, and load cartons onto skids.
  • Complete batch changes throughout production process to ensure efficient operation
Launch schedules and schedule changes through JDE and coordinate with supply chain.

  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly TPM's along with general equipment maintenance.


Participate in regular TPM meetings within the Concentrates department and continuously drive improvement activities for the production line while minimizing downtime.

Support EMS implementation which includes maintaining the department in 6S condition and participating in the IDEAS program.

  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks as required and document in EBR.

Duties performed on a continual or intermittent basis:

  • Advise the supervisor and take appropriate action if any safety, quality, mechanical or discrepancy issues occur
  • Sustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles
