Responsibilities:

Prepare commitments as per Internal Commitment Requests provided;
Ensure targets set forth are met with respect to sending out commitments and all documentation with regards to a mortgage file in a timely manner;
Respond to broker/solicitor queries in a timely, and courteous manner;
Conduct client interview ensuring that interview requirements are fulfilled as well as any additional information that may be helpful in future dealings with the client;
Ensure mortgage status' are communicated to Underwriting Manager when necessary;
Provide file and information to Manager for final approval prior to instructing the solicitor
Update and ensure Mortgage Automator software is up to date;

Qualifications:

Ability to prioritize, multitask, organize and execute in a fast paced environment
Detail oriented, with excellent organizational and follow up skills
Successfully adapts to changing situations
Post secondary education
Ability to think outside of the box
Previous financial/administrative service experience
Positive team player
Strong client service skills
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and understand when to escalate
