Responsibilities:


  • Prepare commitments as per Internal Commitment Requests provided;
  • Ensure targets set forth are met with respect to sending out commitments and all documentation with regards to a mortgage file in a timely manner;
  • Respond to broker/solicitor queries in a timely, and courteous manner;
  • Conduct client interview ensuring that interview requirements are fulfilled as well as any additional information that may be helpful in future dealings with the client;
  • Ensure mortgage status' are communicated to Underwriting Manager when necessary;
  • Provide file and information to Manager for final approval prior to instructing the solicitor
  • Update and ensure Mortgage Automator software is up to date;

Qualifications:


  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, organize and execute in a fast paced environment
  • Detail oriented, with excellent organizational and follow up skills
  • Successfully adapts to changing situations
  • Post secondary education
  • Ability to think outside of the box
  • Previous financial/administrative service experience
  • Positive team player
  • Strong client service skills
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and understand when to escalate
