Maintenance Helper - Painter

Assignments:
Seasonal, Day Shift 7:30am - 4:00pm to support the work of our external paint program

Your Responsibilities
The maintenance helper assists assigned trades people in the performance of their duties or works independently.

You will Perform a variety of skilled or semi-skilled duties relative to the maintenance of buildings, grounds, and ancillary equipment from sketches and working drawings.

You will prepare worksites for trades people, and delivery of tools. Utilizing those power and hand tools necessary to perform the designated trade. While assisting other employees as appropriate. You may on occasion be required to perform other related duties as assigned.

Your Experience, Education and Skills

High school graduation or the equivalent
One year experience related to the assigned trade
Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions
Working knowledge of drawings and specifications
Valid B.C. Class 5 Driver's License
Physical capability to perform the job duties
Competent in the use and care of tools and equipment common to the assigned trades
