Key points/ Highlights:
Required:
7 years and more of experience as a project manager;
Fully Bilingual with French and English;
Security/cybersecurity project management experience - having realized the following points:
- implementation of cybersecurity systems,
- creation of architecture roadmaps,
- safety recovery works etc.
Have written a project progress report;
EPM plan maintained continuously and up to date;
Have written project status reports including:
- Risk register,
- Meetings with delivery teams,
- Coordination with stakeholders,
- Summary of coordination activities for change work on assets in production,
- Communication plan / change management
Have made presentations of project proposals for product architecture committees;
Report project status to the portfolio (quarterly forecasts, actuals, project status, etc.);
Responsible for the overall planning, execution, monitoring and control of the project
Identify and manage epic-level project dependencies.
Manage project dependencies with other projects/products (milestones).
Support the Scrum master and team members in adopting a cadence, sequencing in line with the Epics notebook and achieving project/product objectives.
Take charge of its risks and the points to be dealt with (issues, problems, hypotheses, orientations, strategies, decisions, etc.) reported by the members, the Scrum Manager or the business partners.
Knowledge of JIRA (X/10 and specify usage)
Knowledge of Confluence
Knowledge of PowerBI
Experience in a large environment (such as Desjardins, BNC, Intact, etc.)
Job description:
The main cybersecurity directorate is seeking to have a squad of project managers who will work on project deliverables of various sizes.
The projects consist, to be limited to it and by way of example only, of setting up cybersecurity systems, integrating business systems with cybersecurity services, producing architecture roadmaps, safety rectification etc.
Project managers who are part of the squad will be assigned one or more projects of multiple sizes. Project assignments and the product managers who oversee them will evolve.In many cases, the project manager will deliver projects in an agile context with delivery teams working in cells and supported by scrum masters.
In these cases, he will have to provide for a particular link with the scrum masters and work by using the existing ceremonies (or meetings) before proposing others.
Monthly deliverables
- Project progress report (RAVA) which involves the demonstration of an EPM plan continuously maintained and up to date
- Project status report every two weeks (Register of risks, problems and outstanding points, Meetings with delivery teams,
- Coordination with stakeholders,
- Project progress monitoring at the Steering Committee (for example: updating information relevant to the project in the program steering committee)
- Presentations of project proposals for product architecture committees, operational risk management or for crossfunctional architecture committees (preparation and coordination)
- Report project status to portfolio (quarterly forecasts, actuals, project status, etc.).
- Responsible for the general planning, execution, monitoring and control of the project including the closing while respecting the frameworks (ex. CI handover, approvals, GRO, etc.).
- Identify and manage epiclevel project dependencies.
- Manage project dependencies with other projects/products (milestones).
- Support the scrum master and team members in adopting a cadence, sequencing in connection with the epics book and the achievement of project/product objectives.
- Make sure to take charge of its risks and of the points to be dealt with (issues, problems, hypotheses, orientations, strategies, decisions, etc.) brought up by the members, the Scrum manager or the business partners.
- Support the program advisor during followup and measures to be taken to address project performance gaps.
- The recommendation to authorize the realization according to the established financial rules.
