Position Overview:


Join the Finning family Finning Canada is seeking a Lead Hand Parts Journeyperson / Countersales to support our Parts Team located at Albian.

This position is responsible for overseeing the handling of shop parts sales orders and assisting with related processes of the Parts Department.

- $51.71 / hour

Job Description:


  • Delegating parts duties
  • Parts orders and delivery
  • Scheduling (Vacation Coverage and OT)


  • NSC Management

  • Logbook and vehicle maintenance
  • Parts counter sales (support front counter sales is required)
  • Working with Exchange Team on large components
  • On-Site Inventory Management counting, ordering, stocking
  • Weekly inventory usage reporting to customer
  • Other tasks as required.
Other functions may include but are not limited to:

  • NEP sourcing of CAT and non-CAT parts
  • Procurement of nonCAT parts
  • Managing backordered parts

Please note that any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement

Qualifications:

  • Journeyman Parts Certification or Red Seal Journeyman Parts Certification required
  • 5 years Oil Sands experience or working with mining equipment. This position will require someone with at least 3 years warehouse experience. This position will also require someone with experience with running a diverse team.
  • Forklift, reach truck and order picker experience and current certifications
  • A high performance, positive attitude and the ability to build and maintain respectful working relationships
  • Clearly demonstrate enthusiasm about their work and must be able to function effectively and purposefully in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to deal with difficult situations
  • Computer literacy with applicable software knowledge along with shop parts experience
  • Experience with Lawson/SIS, AIMS, Antares, SIMSi, InfoCast, Lawson M3, Landmark Smart Office, Ability to upload XML files and the MS Office Package will be considered assets

- WHMIS, TDG, and Fist Aid Certification will be required upon hire *
