As an Asphalt Plant Operator, You Will:

  • Responsible for producing mixes as required
  • Monitor the plant to ensure proper and efficient plant operations
  • Maintain proper plant maintenance
  • Track daytoday operations
  • Oversee staff
  • Produce daily reports as required
  • Other duties as required

What You'll Bring:


  • Welding experience is considered an asset
  • Millwright or certified mechanic is an asset
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Comfortable in construction environment (ex. Outside, noisy, fumes, duty environment)
  • Ability to sit, stand or drive more than 90 minutes per day
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs/22.7 kg
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Has an OSSD or equivalent diploma
  • Have a valid driver's license
  • Ability to analyze situations quickly and make prompt, sound decisions
  • Be a team player
  • Have flexibility to work overtime & weekends
  • Travel required
