Job Summary

Main Responsibilities

  • Work closely with development and operations teams to integrate observability tools into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Provide expertise in troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex performance issues.
  • Customize and configure Dynatrace and Datadog for specific use cases, ensuring comprehensive coverage and insightful analytics.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in observability and APM, and evaluate potential tools and techniques for adoption.

Working Conditions
The role has standard working conditions in an office environment with a regular workweek from Monday to Friday.

Due to the nature of the role, the incumbent must be able to meet tight deadlines, handle pressure and stress.


Requirements:


Experience

  • Hands on knowledge of alerting, incidents creation and dashboard creations
  • Deep Understanding and Experience in Full Stack Observability
  • Deep handson experience with Dynatrace and Datadog, including implementation, configuration, and optimization.
  • Expert in Troubleshooting and Drilldown Analysis using Dynatrace or Datadog
  • Strong understanding of cloud environments (GCP, Azure) and experience in managing SaaSbased observability tools.
  • 2+ years of handson technical working experience in managing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure hosted infrastructure & systems.
  • 2+ years of technical working knowledge of containers technology, such as Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • 2+ years of experience in coding Infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible etc.)
  • 5+ years of technical understanding of the nuances involved in various operating system environments (Windows, Linux, AIX, Solaris), Application Servers (WebSphere, Tomcat) and databases (DB2, Oracle, MS SQL, PostGres)
  • Strong Technical knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, network devices & protocols and their impact on web performance.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation of monitoring tasks.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work in a fastpaced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • A great plus to have experience in Opensource Observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and FluentD.

Education/Certification/Designation

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree or work experience


  • Cloud certification

  • Dynatrace and/or Datadog Certification

  • In Depth knowledge of Observability tools like Dynatrace or Datadog
  • Any knowledge for any of the above would be considered as an asset
