Core Applications Development Manager

Role Summary


Responsibilities:


Grow and mentor a team of developers, QA automation engineers, manual testers, and ERP analysts working on order management, warehouse fulfillment, product assembly tracking, data transformations, and integrations to our ERP and CRM systems.

Coordinate and prioritize software development activities through the full software development life cycle.

Manage relationships with key business partners and help establish and maintain a prioritized backlog of enhancements, defects, Keep The Lights On (KTLO) and continuous improvements items.

Ensure that project work is prioritized and delivered by the team. Work closely with Project Managers and other stakeholders to plan, break down and execute project work.
Engage with stakeholders to provide solutions to business problems and progress updates.
Partner with the Digital Commerce Development Team to support E-commerce solutions.
Drive an inclusive, collaborative process for researching new technologies.
Measure and manage the success and performance of software development with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Deliver projects conforming to industry security, regulatory, compliance and audit requirements.
Participate in migrating legacy SOAP APIs to JSON, RESTful, or GraphQL APIs.


Qualifications:

A degree in the field of Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
5+ years as a software development manager including 3+ years managing an agile development team
3+ years working with any cloud ERPs (Dynamics, NetSuite, SAP, Sage )
Knowledge of Microsoft.
NET as well as knowledge of Jira or other bug-tracking tools
Experience with CI/CD and knowledge of Azure or AWS and deep understanding of API design
Knowledge of SQL databases, preferably MySQL or Microsoft SQL
Demonstrates a high level of personal credibility and trust with senior leaders using professional expertise, judgement, and diplomacy
Successful track record of effective project coordination, prioritization, collaboration, organization, and timely project delivery
Experience leading a team through the transformation as well as effectively managing and communicating change
