Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide project management leadership to staff across the department, including the development and use of standard tools and processes
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of a project including planning, coordination, and evaluation, and budget management
  • Preparation and presentation of project documentation including proposals, project plans, budgets, meeting agendas, pitch document and decks
  • Monitor and report on progress, risks and issues associated with the project to all stakeholders and escalate as appropriate
  • Provide strategies for risk mitigation and resolution where appropriate
  • Engage and communicate with key stakeholders across IBH, THP and the community on an ongoing basis and ensure changing resource and project requirements are met and understood
  • Provide integration of processes to support technology development and implementation with key groups across the hospital

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Successful completion of a university degree in business, clinical/health informatics, computer science, innovation, or healthrelated discipline
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in project management in health care environments such as hospitals, government or private sector required
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation preferred but not required
  • Previous experience running multiple concurrent projects tackling challenges with a highlevel of ambiguity
  • Strong understanding of design thinking, agile and other innovation methodology is an asset
  • Experience in technology, innovation, commercialization, procurement and business development is an asset
  • Excellent organizational, time management and project management skills with demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Superior analytical and problemsolving abilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Effective interpersonal communications skills and ability to successfully build relationships with senior leaders, scientists, research staff and frontline clinicians
  • Ability to synthesize and present information in a concise manner that is easily understandable and engaging for the intended audience through presentation decks, pitches and other project materials
