Position Available:
Research Assistant - Physical Sciences
A temporary full-time, grant-funded Research Assistant position is available immediately, in the Physical Sciences Platform at Sunnybrook Research Institute, to study MRI-guided ultrasound-enhanced drug delivery to the central nervous system.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing cell culture
- Participating in preclinical experiments
- Analyzing research results and preparing reports
- Maintaining lab inventory of experimental supplies and ordering new supplies
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in Science or Engineering
- Strong experimental skills, and familiarity with laboratory equipment and experiments
- Highly motivated, detailoriented individual
- Prior experience with cell culture
- Prior experience with preclinical experimental work is an asset but is not required
- Ability to work in a team
