Responsibilities:
Conduct original research in the field of mobile and AI.
Publish and present research findings in top-tier journals and conferences.
Collaborate with other researchers in the team to develop interdisciplinary solutions.
Requirements:
Ph.
D. in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
Experience in programming languages such as Python, Swift, Kotlin, React Native, and MATLAB.
Experience with AI libraries such as TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, Keras, and PyTorch.
Strong publication record in top-tier conferences and journals.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Your primary appointment will be at Sheridan's CMI and expected to work collaboratively with McMaster University, Computing and Software (McMaster Centre for Software Certification (McSCert).
You will receive mentorship and support from Sheridan and McMaster faculty and researchers, and our industry and community partners.
Additional opportunities may include teaching and supervision of students and travelling to disseminate your research at conferences and industry events.
You will be working with expert faculty researchers and talented undergraduate students from Sheridan College and an international world-class team of academics, post-doctoral researchers, PhD students, and master's students from McMaster University.
