Battlefield Equipment Rentals has an immediate opening for an Account Manager (Sales rep), operating out of our Kingston branch. This store is a constantly busy, growing facility, operating with a goal-oriented and customer-driven team.

The Account Manager operates as the direct liaison between our branches and our customers, and is a crucial position in developing and maintaining the relationships that are required to grow our business.


  • Continuously look for ways to develop & maintain relationships that are essential to the growth of our business;
  • Consistent use of our CRM to manage accounts;
  • Manage customer disputes by finding solutions to their issues, and maintain a positive relationship between both parties for future business ventures.
  • Retain customers and nurture key relationships. Form strategic partnerships with our customers.
  • Work as a team with our branch staff to satisfy customer needs & requests;
  • Develop strategies to prospect new business within the assigned territory;
  • Determine customer requirements and provide solutions;
  • Respond to customer needs, requests and concerns in a timely, professional manner;
  • Cater to customer schedules, attend possible afterhour events and adapt to an oncall schedule at times;
  • Dedication to ongoing professional development;
  • Schedule your week ahead of time, adapt to change and set goals;
  • Develop an extensive knowledge of Battlefield and the products/services we offer;
  • Deliver equipment to customers when necessary;
  • Deliver and communicate promotional material;
  • Quote new equipment, building products and rental equipment;
  • Perform otherjob related duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications

  • The ability to provide excellent customer relations while keeping a positive attitude;
  • Previous experience in a related field, and knowledge of construction equipment and building products;
  • Attention to detail and effective paperwork organization;
  • A selfstarter, with a keen sense of timemanagement and effective planning skills;
  • Good communication and people skills, and the desire to work effectively within a team environment;
  • Ability to cater to customer schedules, afterhour events and emergencies, as well as oncall schedules;
  • Familiarity with the territory and willingness to travel as required;
  • A clean driver's abstract is mandatory.

Additional Qualifications

  • Proficiency/prior experience with Systematics would be considered an asset;
  • Technical aptitude of CAT equipment and operations would be considered an asset.

Salary:
$60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
