Job Introduction:


The Business Systems Analyst has a strong background in Customer Service, Sales and Distribution / Logistic, and understands well the "quote to invoice" processes.

Canada - Hybrid - Richmond, BC


Key responsibilities include:


  • Support project team to implement digital transformation technologies and processes, including requirements gathering, documentation, testing, development of training documentation, and go live support.
  • Liaise between Sales, Logistics, Customer Service, and Information Services departments.
  • Support Customer Service, Sales, and Distribution functions as a result of internal or external governance of data or legal requirements.
  • Optimize Systems capability and functionality to support business strategies.
  • Make recommendations for process improvement with the use of technology.
  • Manage change requests including prioritize, requirement gathering, documentation, testing, and go live readiness.
  • Resolve system issues related to customer and carrier data.
  • Support system integration issues, review logs, and perform data audits to identify potential issues.
  • Support subsystems feeding information to our core ERP and CRM system.
  • Provide end user support to resolve issues and provide guidance and instruction.
  • Coordinate with IS project teams and business functions as required.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 5 years experience with Customer Service, Sales, and Distribution system or similar experience in international organization environment.
  • Knowledge of Logistics distribution including terminal and export processes.
  • Exposure to JD Edwards or similar ERP system including CRM, Sales, and Transportation.
  • Information systems architecture, design, development, testing, and implementation knowledge.
  • Excellent communication, attention to details, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Degree in Business, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or technical training equivalent.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to travel occasionally to plants and offices located internationally.
  • Solid command of English, both written and spoken. Either French or Bahasa will be beneficial.

Working Conditions:


  • This is a hybrid work environment with some time spent inoffice located Malaysia, Canada, or USA. Will require visiting and shortterm project work in a plant/manufacturing environment.
  • Responsibilities will require occasional evening and weekend work to support endusers or in response to needs of the systems being supported.
