We're looking for a
Deployment Technician to join our team This is an
on-site role working directly in-person with various clients on a daily basis in-house and at client locations.

We have been in business for 20 years, assessing, deploying, and maintaining technology for business and non-profit organizations in Healthcare, Education, Transportation, etc., throughout Western Canada.

Desired Skills & Experience:

Degree or diploma in a computerrelated program at an accredited technical college
A+ certification
Comfortable with doing onsite work in customers' business locations (onsite work).
Handson experience supporting a multitude of operating systems, platforms, and devices.
Knowledge using PXE or Server Based Imaging with User State Migration Tool (USMT) to install base Windows 11 images onto new computers.
Proficient in MS-Windows administration and elements like Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP.
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 platform with some certification desirable.
Some exposure to network components such as switches, firewalls and wifi access points.
Good knowledge of IT concepts and overall strategies, methodologies, practices & procedures.

What you will do:

Troubleshooting and some break/fix work on desktops and laptops inhouse and at client locations.
Onsite assessment and assistance during network outages.
Printer, scanner and other peripheral setups in client environments.
Imaging of laptops and desktops with Windows 1
Onsite deployment of new equipment in customer's offices including data migration.
Onsite assistance to senior network technicians during project rollouts and new client onboarding.

Additional Requirements:

Valid Manitoba driving license.
A background check is required.
Ability to do overnight stays for rural deployments if required
Travel to several client locations around Winnipeg will be required
Bend and reach repetitively
Lift up to 30 lbs.

Experience:

- troubleshooting: 1 year (required)

- imaging of laptops and desktops with Windows 11: 2 years (preferred)

Schedule:

8:00 am to 5:00pm
