Position Summary:


Join us as a SecOps Team Member in an internship role, where you'll contribute to enhancing security, infrastructure, and tooling related to the Ocean platform.

You'll play a crucial role in ensuring Ocean remains secure, available, and fast.


What you will be doing:


  • Maintain ISO27001 controls and implement SOC 2 controls as needed, under supervision.
  • Participate in the design/development of SecOps processes, controls and Information Security practices.
  • Assist in the gathering of requirements for current projects includes collecting and analyzing existing documentation, reviewing with Subject Matter Experts & writing specification documents.
  • Assist in drafting SOPs and Policies.
  • Interact with the development team to eliminate barriers and effectively return feedback from production and test environments.
  • Defend the perimeter. Security and privacy are and will always be our primary concerns as we build and operate the platform. You'll be protecting our systems and users by designing and implementing our security controls strategy.
  • Find problems before our customers do. You'll always be on the lookout for ways to improve our monitoring platform so that we're tracking the metrics that matter and alerting when there's something a human need to see.

You have:

Some knowledge of IT, DevSecOps processes, tools, programs

  • Basic knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle
  • Knowledge of writing code and getting it shipped to production is an asset. Some degree of experience with programming
  • Knowledge of Application Security and cybersecurity
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology techniques
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Basic knowledge of the Product industry
