Job Description:


The incumbent is responsible for the supervision and ensuring the proper functioning of passenger service operations and ensuring that they meet Air Transat's high standards and safety requirements.

As an ambassador for the Company, the Supervisor will also promote and maintain a safety culture at all times.

  • Supervise the work teams for passenger services;
  • Ensure compliance with Air Transat's airport policies and procedures regarding the treatment of passengers, both in terms of arrivals, checkin, boarding and connecting process.
  • Conduct station inspections in accordance with company programs, identify corrective actions and ensure their implementation;
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to operational teams
  • Manage station delays, emergency events and irregular operations
  • Work closely with airport authorities, government agencies
  • Assist in resolving customer's problems
  • Managing various reports related to passenger services

Qualifications:


  • High school leaving diploma or equivalent related to industry
  • Speciality: minimum of (5) years pertinent experience in the airline/aviation industry as a passenger agent and/or team leader in the passenger services.
  • 2 year's experience in employee management
  • Familiar with Transport Canada airline regulations, CBSA and USCBP regulations
  • Extensive experience with above and below the wing operations
  • Excellent organizational and problemsolving skills.
  • Recognized leadership and team spirit.
  • Strong focus on customer service in line with company values
  • Sense of leadership, diplomacy, and team spirit
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English (both oral and written)
  • Flexible and available to work different shifts according to operational needs (day, evening, night, weekend and holiday
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a RAIC card
  • Be able to lift 20kg and do extensive walking
  • Computer systems: Microsoft Office
