Pastry Clerk
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pastry Clerk to join our bustling bakery team. As a Pastry Clerk, you will play a crucial role in creating a great experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:

Taking and filling customer orders, preparing, portioning and packaging pastries
Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries, suggesting suitable pastries, and fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Adhere to strict food safety and hygiene protocols to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Monitor and manage pastry inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock for daily operations.
Display pastries and desserts in a neat, organized and visually appealing manner.
Properly price and label all pastries and desserts
Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, equipment, and tools.

Requirements:

Capable of standing for extended periods, heavy lifting, and working in a fastpaced environment.
A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively with the bakery team
Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays, as the bakery's operating hours may require.
Good verbal communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
High school diploma or GED
Experience in a customer focused role is an advantage
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
