The Department of Health, Seniors and Long Term Care is currently seeking a Service Portfolio Manager in its Information Management & Analytics branch (IMA).
This branch leads the Provincial Information Management and Analytics Shared Service (PIMA) and maintains the Provincial Data Repository and other IMA databases; in order to support system planning, population health planning, and public health through the provision of information and analytics.

Qualifications:
Essential:
- Postsecondary education with certificate or diploma in Business Administration, Clinical Informatics, Information Technology/Computer Science/Computer Engineering. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered
- Demonstrated experience working in all aspects of service delivery management or service relationship management.
- Experience in IT incident management.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools.
- Strong working knowledge of Information Technology service management (ITSM)
- Experience preparing budgets, reviewing cost allocation models, providing cost optimization strategies and assisting with capital planning exercises.
- Strong writing and documentations skills to prepare business cases, briefing notes and service documentation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to respond to changing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Desired:
- Experience working in an IT operational management role within a health care environment.
- Experience working with Infrastructure and Software Suppliers/Vendors.
- Experience working with cloud service providers, such as AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
- Knowledge of analytics, business intelligence and "Big Data" environments.
- ITIL Practitioner certification.
Duties:
The Service Portfolio Manager provides leadership while taking a strategic and tactical approach to the design and delivery of IMA services.
the Provincial Information Management and Analytics (PIMA) terms of service, risk register, and service catalogue.
The Service Portfolio Manager facilitates strong communication links with PIMA stakeholders; acting as a spokesperson and the first point of contact for resolution of all operational issues.
