Clinical Research Associate - Ottawa, Canada - OHRI
Description
We are looking for a Clinical Research Associate to join "The Cancer Therapeutics Program".The Main Responsibilities are:
- Literature review of the proposed topic.
- Writing of study protocol under the guidance of scientists.
- Help with the execution of the study.
- Coordination of the analysis and interpretation of study data.
- Writing a draft manuscript outlining results and analyses.
- Project management and participation on project teams ensuring project deliverables are on time and within scope and budget
- Attend regular research meetings
Basic Requirements:
- Master's degree in a relevant field and 2 years of related experience or a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related
- Project management experience
- Time management skills and ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
- Flexibility to accommodate periodic demanding deadlines
- Previous experience in protocol development, grant writing, manuscript writing, and making presentations to scientific audiences: specifically, excellent written communication skills with demonstrated firstauthor manuscript/report/thesis
- Ability to effectively communicate in both oral and written formats for both technical and nontechnical audiences
- Proven ability to work independently, take direction from various sources and prioritize workload with particular attention to detail
- Must have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, work accurately and effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, and remain composed in highpressure situations
- Excellent computer skills, including word processing, presentation, Internet and spreadsheet, data management, and data visualization skills
Preferred Qualification:
- English / French bilingual
Contract Details:
This is a 1-year full-time position with the possibility of renewal.
Salary:
Min: $ $35,878/hr. - Max $44.55/hr.
