In this role, you will play a leading role in our software development team and contribute to the execution of customer-paid development projects.

Essential Functions:


  • Manages software development projects, ensuring high standards in efficiency, ontime delivery, and scope management.
  • Coordinates crossfunctional teams to perform analysis on business requirements and produce technology designs and estimates as required.
  • Prepares and actively manages project schedules.
  • Provides status reports on project budget, schedule, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues.
  • Effectively communicates with all project stakeholders (both internal and external).
  • Proactively identifies and addresses project risks and issues.
  • Coordinates with crossfunctional teams including engineering, marketing, support, sales and finance.
  • Identifies lessons learned and contributes to methodology improvements.
  • Establishes trust and develops longterm relationships with customers.
  • Promotes teamwork and collaboration in the work environment.
  • Works independently with mínimal supervision.

Qualifications:


Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development project management.
  • Fluency in French and English is required for this position in order to communicate with colleagues, customers, and partners located inside and outside of Quebec, as well as to understand technical documentation in the field of our industry.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite office tools (Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • PMP certification.
  • Knowledge and experience in agile development methods.
  • Practical experience in the development of automation systems or products, proven as a software developer or similar function at the beginning of their career.
  • Knowledge of the Visual Studio development environment with Team Foundation.
  • Electrical utility work experience and/or knowledge of electrical systems.

  • Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrates the ability to negotiate, manage conflict and manage risk.
