The Senior Engineering Supervisor
Responsibilities:
# Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
# Develop, implement, and assure compliance with the Teck Coal Project Standards which include applicable codes and regulations
# Assure project processes including Stage Gate, management of change, project charters, tendering, request for proposals, contracts and contractor supervision are effectively applied at a level applicable to the specific project
# Lead safe and environmentally responsible project delivery using the stage gate process
# Define project scope, goals, and scheduled deliverables in coordination with senior management and identified stakeholders, along with identifying and managing project dependencies and critical path
# Aid in the planning, organizing, securing, and managing of resources for the effective and efficient completion of projects
# Provide insight to management on progress, strengths, critical issues, and areas of risk and exposure in the execution of the projects
# Coordinate and steward deliverables including permitting and engineering work products
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Minimum two years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of engineering, permitting, and construction; experience in the mining industry, or other heavy industrial sector an asset
Eligible for, or working towards, registration with the Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia
Familiarity and experience with the Microsoft Suite as well as MS Project, and AutoCAD

Salary Range:
$101,000 - $125,000
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
Successful candidates must be willing to satisfy the pre-employment requirements of a pre-employment drug screen and three professional references.
