    Human Resources Administrator – Part-time - Remote

We deliver mental health care to children, youth, and families, from a distance using educational materials and telephone support from a 'telephone support coach'. Coaches work with children, youth and families to discuss the material, problem solve and provide support.

    JOB OVERVIEW

    Human Resources Administrator will play a vital role in the support and function of the Human Resources department. This individual will not only assist with all aspects of the HR department but will also contribute to the collaboration and positive culture of the organization through effective communication.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Assist with recruitment duties which include attending recruitment meetings, draft job posting, screen applicants, conduct pre-screens, maintain timely communications with candidates and assist with all other recruitment-related duties.
    2. Assist with onboarding duties such as draft offer letters, effective communication with employees, organization of onboarding materials, coordination of equipment and documents, onboarding prep:
    3. Assist with maintaining all employee files in Bamboo HR with regular audits of documents ensuring all are up to date and organized.
    4. Assist with payroll requirements which include employee status change forms, documents, medical notes, notices, terminations, LOA.
    5. Assist with building an inclusive and engaging work environment that develops, retains & attracts talent through ongoing engagement with employees via chats, break rooms and events.
    6. Assist with Benefit and Pension administration and accuracy including regular audits.
    7. Assist with maintenance of the HR software.
    8. Responsible for timely response to HR general inquiries through chats, emails, and phone calls.
    9. Maintain good working knowledge of department policies and procedures.
    10. Assist with policy review and accuracy. Assist with yearly policy review.
    11. Maintains confidentiality of clients and colleagues.
    12. Other duties as assigned.

    EDUCATION

    Post-secondary education in Human Resources/ related field OR currently working towards a degree / diploma focused in Human Resources

    COMPETENCIES

    1. Desire to provide outstanding client service and a commitment to teamwork.
    2. Bilingual is considered an asset.
    3. Excellent organizational and communication skills
    4. Able to maintain confidence and exercise good judgement.
    5. Strong ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
    6. High level of discretion and integrity
    7. Strong computer skills, including MS Office and SharePoint

    EXPERIENCE

    1 – 3 years' experience in a similar role

    COMPENSATION

    $22.00/hour. Benefits are negotiable.
