Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to join our team.

As the Automotive Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our service department and ensuring excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:


  • Manage and supervise the service department staff, including mechanics and technicians
  • Ensure efficient workflow and productivity in the service department
  • Schedule and assign work orders to technicians based on their skill level and availability
  • Provide guidance and support to technicians when diagnosing and repairing vehicles
  • Monitor the quality of work performed by technicians to ensure it meets industry standards
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional and timely manner
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, repairs, and service history
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and parts, to ensure seamless operations
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends and advancements in automotive technology

Requirements:


  • Previous experience as an Automotive Service Manager or similar role
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive repair processes
  • Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Experience working in a dealership environment is preferred
  • Proficient in cash handling procedures and basic accounting principles
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Upselling skills to promote additional services or products

Salary:
$90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year

Experience:

- service advisor: 4 years (required)
- automotive service manager: 1 year (preferred)
