    Description

    A career as a Data Scientist specializing in Credit Risk Analytics at the National Bank's Credit Analytics and Climate Risks team involves being an expert in credit risk analysis and modeling, contributing to the bank's resilience and growth.


    Your role:
    - Develop credit loss forecasting models.
    - Participate in reporting and loss simulation exercises by collaborating with stakeholders.
    - Conduct occasional analyses to address complex issues in credit portfolio risk management.
    - Maintain and update models following industry best practices.
    - Deliver presentations to management and business partners to influence risk management decisions.


    Your team:
    As part of the Credit Analytics and Climate Risks sector, you'll work with around fifty colleagues, reporting to the Senior Director of the IFRS 9 and credit losses team. The team excels in credit risk, quantitative methods, delivery quality, and collaboration, offering a flexible and hybrid work environment.


    Prerequisites:
    - Bachelor's degree in economics, statistics, applied mathematics, or quantitative finance with 5 years of experience, or a master's degree in the same fields with 3 years of relevant experience.
    - Proficiency in quantitative methods, modelization, and SQL programming.
