Slingshot Transportation Inc. is expanding again We have some exciting new opportunities for AZ Driver/Yard Coordinator to join our operations team at the Milton ON terminal._

Available

Schedule:
Tuesday - Saturday OR Sunday - Thursday

Shift Time: 4:30AM - 4:30PM

AZ Driver/Yard Coordinator Duties:

Identify required repairs to equipment and report to Equipment.
Ensuring all paperwork is correct, reefers are set correctly and in good working order
Inspecting inbound trailers for cleanliness, load bars and fuel level
Managing the yard and placement of trailers, ensuring proper spotting
Yard checks, signing out loads
Handling difficulties with drivers including power only ie. not following instructions, poor driving etc.
Occasional local driving

Requirements:

Valid AZ License with a minimum 2 years of verifiable driving experience
Read, write and speak English
Ability to provide strong leadership
Ability to multitask while working a fastpaced environment
Computer skills including tablets/smart phones, google sheets, excel
Excellent knowledge of equipment to identify and report required repairs to equipment supervisor
Current CVOR / Driver Abstract
Criminal Record Check
