Shop Assistant - Modification Shop
We are seeking an individual who loves to learn, is passionate about what they do, and loves a challenge. The right person for our team is hard-working, a team player, and wants to grow within the organization.

About the Role

As a Shop Assistant to the CNC Machine Operator, you will work closely with the Mod Shop team to meet customer requirements and delivery dates.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

Help load and unload boxes onto the machine
Filling out shipping/ISO documents
Packing finished products
Light assembly work
Clean the work area after the shift and maintain a neat working environment
Clean and deburr machined parts and subassemblies using manual and machinery tools;

Requirements:

Hardworking, punctual, and reliable
A desire to learn about enclosure modifications and how to operate the Steinhauer machine. We are looking for someone who wants to learn and grow within the department.
CNC machine operator experience beneficial but not required
CAD software experience would be an asset
Proficiency in reading/writing English
Manual dexterity
Capable of handling weight up to 45 lbs
Attention to detail and a good sense of observation
Sense of urgency
