RESPONSIBILITIES

Home Product Development & Global Sourcing & Production (50%)

  • Work seamlessly with the crossfunctional teams and Creative Director for Home to develop and execute the vision and strategy of the Home division.
  • Drive and follow through seasonal development and production of Home products in tandem with the Production Manager
  • Adhere to the vertical calendar milestones to ensure deadlines are met for development and production
  • Assist the Production Manager in ensuring the global vendor matrix adheres to the development and production of Home product.
  • Attend crossfunctional internal meetings and execute against the output of the meetings with the vendor base.
  • Support preparation for crossfunctional meetings;
  • Work adeptly within company technology systems (WFX / NetSuite) for both Production Status & reporting purposes;

Accessories & Jewelry Development & Global Sourcing & Production (40%)

  • Work seamlessly with the crossfunctional teams in Creative Design and Design development for Apparel Accessories, including but not limited to Shoes & Bags, and Jewelry to execute the vision and strategy of the Accessory & Jewelry divisions.
  • Drive and follow through seasonal development and production of both Accessories and Jewelry in tandem with the Production Manager
  • Adhere to the vertical calendar milestones to ensure deadlines are met for both product development and production execution
  • Assist the Production Manager in ensuring the global vendor matrix adheres to the development and production of nonapparel accessories & jewelry.
  • Attend crossfunctional internal meetings and execute against the output of the meetings with the vendor base, as applicable.
  • Support preparation for crossfunctional meetings, driving crossfunctional adherence to calendar milestones
  • Work adeptly within company technology systems (WFX / NetSuite) for both Production Status & reporting purposes;

Product Packaging Development & Execution (10%)

  • Assist the Production Manager in driving the evolving development of internal product packaging and marketing based on the needs of the business, from product labeling to shopping bags to enhance the client experience;
  • Review samples, aggregate comments and reach consensus with cross functional partners for development approval and packaging execution together with the Production Manager;
  • Work seamlessly with the packaging vendor matrix to execute the vision of aesthetics of the brand from a cost, quality and execution perspective.

Requirements:


  • 2+ years of experience in working in nonapparel (Home, accessories and jewelry) industries
  • Understanding of Vertical Specialty Retail
  • Understanding of global interdependencies within our vendor matrix, assessing and analyzing their capabilities and associated logistics of how a product is developed and produced, and shipped.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Be clear, concise and direct.
  • Knowledge of raw materials in your category(s) of expertise along with manufacturing standards for Home/Accessories/Jewelry
  • Overseas and domestic manufacturing experience is considered a plus
  • Work independently and be flexible in a fastpaced business environment
  • Ability to problem solve and prioritize tasks in order of importance
  • Well organized, selfstarter, and multitask oriented
  • Confidence and experience in PLM webbased product lifecycle software is considered a plus but not required
