What does an Event Manager in Regina do?:

  • Effective and efficient command & control of Supervisory and Security Officers
  • Deploy a team of 15 personnel
  • Liaise effectively and proactively with event compliance officers and the client during the games.
  • Attend preevent briefing and post game reviews.
  • Secure and create a convivial atmosphere through good customer relations skill.
  • Report incident to the event compliance officer and collaborate in resolving problems.
  • Send reports at the end of each event to the Garda World Branch Manager.
  • Experience in managing is an added advantage.

Qualifications to become an Event Manager in Regina:

  • 1 to 3 years experience in personnel management in a unionized environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (English an asset)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Valid security guard license and first aid card
  • Available to work flexible hours
  • Have a clean criminal record
  • Be eligible to work in Canada
