We are looking to hire a

Bilingual (French/English) Client Trainer who will be a key member of our financial planning and analysis team. This role will join our SchoolMessenger line of business at West. Responsible for training assigned operations employees, which includes conducting training sessions, mini-courses, in-service presentations, and client training presentations, as well as assisting in the development of training materials; observing trainees identify where they are experiencing difficulty, and taking instructional steps to clarify information; track enrollment of training participants and distribute enrollment information to appropriate departments; maintain a timely and accurate written record of all conferences and verbal warnings to support the decision to retrain or terminate a trainee ensuring the adherence to departmental policies and procedures; as assigned, participate in the analysis, design, and development of web-based training programs which may include updating existing training materials ensuring adherence to departmental policies and procedures.


What You'll Do:


  • Prepare for training by reading guides, performing practice presentations, and reviewing previous trainers' documentation
  • Conduct conferences and provide feedback to individual trainees concerning progress, if appropriate
  • Observe trainees to identify where they are experiencing difficulty, and take instructional steps to clarify information
  • Recommend retraining or termination of trainees according to departmental policies and procedures
  • Conduct an evaluation of the training assistant to assess the effectiveness and to determine the need for any additional or refresher training
  • May assist with training new or temporary trainers
  • Conduct minicourses, inservice presentations, and client/production employee training presentations, as assigned
  • Participate in special product training and bilingual classes, as required
  • Track enrollment of training participants and distribute enrollment information to appropriate departments
  • Thoroughly and accurately communicate policies and procedures relating to business procedures, philosophies, and conduct in training sessions
  • Stay apprised of all changes to policies and procedures
  • Ensure that webbased training materials adhere to training requirements and adequately support established learning objectives
  • Develop and implement an inhouse trainthetrainer program to enhance training capabilities and effective training
  • Use a variety of software programs and transfer software knowledge to direct reports for use in curriculum building

An applicant for this job will be expected to meet the following minimum qualifications:


Education:

Canadian Education

  • Degree from an accredited college in computer science, MIS or a related field required
  • Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements

What Experiences You Bring:


  • Minimum one year of training or professional teaching, quality assurance or coaching experience required
  • Minimum one year of professional training which may include public and private school experience, corporate training or related training experience preferred
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Fluency in Canadian French and English (Bilingual Trainers Only)

    $26 CAD and will be commensurate with experience.
