    Our amazing client in Brantford is HIRING for a Production Supervisor on a 12 hour day shift

    The Production Supervisor will work closely with the Operations and Maintenance Team reporting directly to the Production Manager.

    The Production Supervisor will control and monitor production operations and oversee an already very successful team.

    Responsibilities
    Ensures worker safety initiating or implementing corrective action as necessary to comply.
    Coordinate employee training and development in accordance with existing standards recommending changes to
    higher level management.
    Directs hourly workers to ensure compliance with company objectives.
    Monitors manpower levels and recommends changes and improvements as necessary.
    Evaluate performance standards of subordinates taking corrective action where indicated.
    Ensure workers are knowledgeable in the performance of their job function and equipment operations.
    Monitor production process and initiate or implement corrective measures.
    Organize production activities to ensure effective utilization of available resources, facility, equipment, and workers.

    Qualifications
    3-5 years of experience in Production Leadership as a minimum requirement
    Knowledge of Kaizen practices considered an asset
    Knowledge of 5S practices considered an asset
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    Must understand safety regulations such as OSHA, SARA and HAZWOPER
