NIXA is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Director of Business Development in Information Technology to join our dynamic team at our headquarters in Montreal.


As a visionary leader, you will drive our business growth initiatives in the IT sector by developing innovative strategies to acquire new clients, strengthen existing relationships, and expand our portfolio of products and services.


Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic business development plans for the IT sector, aligned with organizational objectives:


  • Client Acquisition Strategies: Develop plans to acquire new clients.
  • Identify new business opportunities, assess their viability, and develop value propositions tailored to client needs.
  • Contribute to increasing Nixa's visibility within its industry and with new markets.
  • Smoothly oversee the sales process and interventions of various stakeholders involved in client decisionmaking.

Service Strategy: Target services sought by clients and potential clients.

  • Develop a service strategy focused on specific client and prospect needs while actively promoting the company's products and services.
  • Monitor and analyze business performance, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend strategic adjustments accordingly.

Market Strategy: Develop plans to conquer new markets or consolidate positions in existing markets.

  • Data Analysis: Use KPIs and other performance indicators to inform decisionmaking.
  • Strategically develop new accounts and business opportunities through prospecting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand market trends, anticipate client needs, and propose innovative solutions.

Revenue Enhancement: Develop a business plan.

  • Identify new business opportunities and partnerships with a growth objective.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop and propose solutions that maximize the value of our clients' investment in our products and services.
  • Collaboration with team members in drafting service offers.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement at least one significant improvement in sales or CRM processes each quarter.
  • Supervise sales and marketing teams to ensure effective execution of business development strategies.

Qualifications:


  • University degree in business administration, business management, or a related field such as economics or commerce, with a specialization or concentration in information technology or strategic management. An MBA would be an additional asset.
  • Significant experience (5 years) in a business development role, preferably in the information technology sector.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to drive growth and positively influence business initiatives.
  • Indepth understanding of emerging trends and technologies in the IT field.
  • Understanding of the strategic and commercial drivers that trigger client decisionmaking and implement consequent sales strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective business strategies to drive growth and profitability.
  • Possess an innovative vision to open doors to develop sustainable business relationships.
  • Excellent command of French and English, both oral and written.
