About the roleThe Advisor – People & Culture provides high quality advice and support to managers and staff on a range of People & Culture matters.

You will work closely with our People & Culture Team in supporting the delivery of cyclical HR programs and strategic projects.

This role will be responsible for effective, timely support and advice to leaders and employees in the organization.

The position will be on a 5 days on / 2 days off / 4 days on / 3 days off roster and will be based residentially in Red Lake, Ontario(NO FIFO).

Participate in workforce planning and support department heads with recruitment and selection requirementsDevelop strategies that foster employee engagementDevelop performance driven culture using performance and development management systemsDrive employee performance/excellence through organizational development programsAddress employee relations concerns and questionsMaintain strict confidentiality and respect employee confidentialityVarious other People & Culture related strategic activitiesAbout youAs an Advisor – People & Culture, you will ideally have at minimum a College Diploma related to Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or other related fields.

CHRP/CHRL designation is not required but is considered desirable.

It is also important that you have/ can demonstrate:

Valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehiclePrevious Human Resources experience in Mining Industry is desirablePrevious experience using HRIS (Success Factors) is also considered an assetUnderstanding of Employment Standards Act, Human Rights legislation, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and other relevant legislationsExcellent organizational skills with strong attention to detailAdaptive and responsive to change with the ability to handle a fast paced work environmentExcellent computer skillsExperience with accounting, budgeting, and remuneration process is also desirableWe thank you for taking the time to submit your application.
