Purpose of the Position

Aecon Materials Engineering Corp (AME) is seeking a Quality Document Control Coordinator to join the team Reporting to the Project Manager, the Quality Document Control Coordinator will work at our Caledon office to assist with meeting and exceeding project quality objectives.

This opportunity is located in Caledon, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities

Track and ensure timely submission of project deliverables.
Assist with preparing Inspection Test Plans (ITP's) for various construction activities, inline with Contract Documents.
Assist with preparing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for various field testing and inspection activities.
Ensure timely calibration of all analytical instruments used for field and laboratory testing.
Maintain QMS records.
Administer subcontractor reporting.
Assist with invoice preparation.
Track and communicate failed reports and quality deficiencies.
Produce control charts and testing summary reports.
Develop technical understanding of services provided and actively contribute to AME's continuous improvement process.
Assist the project manager with quality related inquires and new scope of work development as needed.

Required Knowledge and Skills

Postsecondary education in an Engineering or Science related program preferred.
Previous experience working wihtin construction quality function is preferred but not required.
Excellent English reading and writing skills.
Understanding the requirements of ISO 17025 is an asset.
Driver's license preferred.
