Salary:
$ $46.48 per hour

This position is open to all qualified
OPSEU staff throughout Lakeridge Health commencing August 1, 2023 and closing at 11:59 pm on August 9, 2023.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Successful completion of recognized Echocardiography course with recognized clinical placement
A.R.D.M.S. required
Ability to acquire excellent images for 2D and Echo Doppler, and to assist with TEE
Experience with Dobutamine and Stress Echo an asset
Current BCLS certification
Demonstrated computer data entry skills for Hospital Information system
Ability to function effectively in an organized manner, using selfdirection to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
Excellent communication (oral, written, telephone) and interpersonal skills with a welldeveloped customer service focus, dealing effectively with internal customers, physicians, and the community
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
Must have satisfactory performance record;
Demonstrated commitment to our core values of Inclusion, Compassion, Innovation, Teamwork and Joy;
Demonstrated understanding of and, commitment to Lakeridge Health's comprehensive safety program and practices including staff, patient, and environmental safety and participation in regular inservice education in this are;
Proven good attendance record with capability of maintaining this same standard;

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

The terms and conditions of employment are in accordance with the Collective Agreement between the Hospital and
OPSEU Local 348.

Successful applicants must provide a satisfactory Criminal Investigation Reference for the vulnerable sector, dated within the past six (6) months.
