CMP supplies the recreational and commercial marine industries with a broad range of products for various industry segments, including anchoring & ground tackle, corrosion, dock & boat accessories, and steering & controls.

CMP manufactures and distributes products under the brands, Martyr, Rocna, Vulcan, Titan, Panther, Dock Edge, Octopus, Intellisteer, Sanitation Equipment and, Trollmaster.


The Corporate Marketing Manager is responsible for managing the company's marketing and branding initiatives, which include those of all divisions and overseas companies.

RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Marketing Management:


  • Develop marketing strategies and campaigns in line with company objectives and goals
  • Deploy successful marketing strategies and own their implementation from ideation to execution
  • Produce valuable and engaging content for websites and Social Media that attracts and converts our target groups. Ensure the most effective communication methods needed to attract prospective customers and retain existing ones.
  • Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors
  • Represent the marketing team to internal crossfunctional groups including new product management, sales and/or customer service.
  • Oversee the company's marketing budget marketing budget and allocate/invest funds wisely
  • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives.
  • Plan, design and supervising effective communication of company's brand equity at exhibitions
  • Manage projects of new product launch and reposition/relaunch existing product(s).

Resource Management:


  • Manage and coordinate marketing efforts and creative staff
  • Lead market research efforts to uncover the viability of current and existing products/services
  • Collaborate with media organizations and advertising agencies
  • Monitor current campaigns, ensuring staff meets deadlines to complete necessary tasks
  • Analyze data to evaluate the success of marketing efforts and come up with new ideas to improve brand marketing and exposure
  • Conduct and document meetings and annual performance reviews with team members
  • Manage ongoing comprehensive training program based on needs of the operation including training for subordinates and selfimprovement
  • Monitor marketing activities with all other corporate entities to ensure overall marketing strategies are maintained throughout the organization

Customer Relations Management:


  • Managing campaigns to distribute surveys and collect responses
  • Maintaining an effective and efficient CRM system

General Support:


  • Administrating the purchase and facilitating payments of all marketing expenses and allocate to appropriate GL codes
  • Prepare/process all administrative reports (expenses, invoices) in a timely manner as defined

Safety:


  • Promote safe work practices as outlined in the province/state regulations

Quality:


  • Ensure the Company's quality policies and procedures are followed
  • Must participate in an internal audit as an auditor at least once a year
  • Close any outstanding Quality Reports before the required due date

Team building:


  • Participate in 1X1 meetings with the Manager

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5 years of experience in marketing management
  • 5 years of experience in resources management
  • 5 years of customer relations management
  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, finance, business administration, or similar
  • Master's Degree in relevant field advantageous
  • Proficiency in electronic marketing automation software

HOURS

  • 8:00 m 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday
  • Hybrid
