Operations Coordinator (Full Time - 18 Month Contract with Benefits) - Sarnia, ON.

Key responsibilities:


Reporting to the Finance Supervisor, the role of Operations Coordinator will be to assist the Finance and Operations teams in nationwide, however this position will be based out of Sarnia, ON.

This 18-month, temporary position will include aspects of accounts payable, accounts receivable, as well as general compliance and administrative duties.


  • Complete credit card reports monthly.
  • Assisting with verification and processing of supplier invoices
  • Tracking billing, credit or other related transactions;
  • Management support and participation in Audit preparation;
  • Distribution, grading and tracking of employee training
  • Filing of job paperwork to ensure that document retention standards are met
  • Monthly fuel reporting
  • Auditing of technician paperwork
  • General administrative duties

Required Qualifications

Education

  • College diploma in an accounting field, or firstyear accounting experience

Experience

  • 35 year's of administrative support experience;
  • Experience in industrial gases or pharmaceutical is an asset.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Knowledge of the Microsoft suite of progams a must (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Excellent time management and work prioritization skills with an ability to effectively manage multiple high impact priorities and obtain results.
  • A proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively with diverse stakeholder groups.
  • A positive attitude, be willing to quickly adapt to changing situations, have strong communications skills, and a strong will to build and maintain productive relationships across departmental lines.
  • Selfmotivated and have the ability to work independently as well as to lead and participate on crossfunctional teams.
  • Professional, excellent verbal, written and presentation skills in English.
