Parts Person - Port Coquitlam, Canada - Prime Boiler Services
Description
Prime Boiler Services Ltd is hiring a Parts Person for our Port Coquitlam location.This role is responsible for delivering outstanding service and parts knowledge in fulfilling parts orders to internal resources and external customers.
Partnering with a variety of departments, this role is vital to ensuring the departments are able to complete their assignments with the proper parts and supplies in a timely manner.
General duties include:
- Fill internal and external Parts orders and/or inquiries
- Source and sign up new management approved Vendors that support the local needs of the Service or PMO departments
- Be the lead parts sales processor for select parts brands, fulfilling customer orders from initial call to confirmed receipt of product.
- Prepare and label staging area for field technicians
- Process staging area returns
- Assist with shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to sales associates for processing
- Moving materials and items from receiving or storage area to shipping or to other designated areas
- Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or part number
- Organizing warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
- Enter and arrange delivery/pickup of parts orders
- Maintain shelf assignment, ensure shelf is clean and free of debris, and ensure bins are labeled and facing frontwards
- General housekeeping sweeping, dusting, and mopping of parts room and shipping bay
- Ensure Counter Sales data are updated reconciling invoices
- Assist in counting of physical inventory
- Related reporting and other duties as required
- Parts Technician apprentice preferred
- Supply Chain Management certificate would be an asset
- Comfortable working in Excel, Outlook and other relevant MS Office apps
