Midland Transport Limited is currently seeking a
professional
CLASS 1 DRIVER
HIGHWAY/Caterpillar Team
- US/CA.

Drivers/teams can be based out of any major city in the Maritimes including, but not limited to Fredericton, Moncton, Halifax, Saint John, Charlottetown.

Main Role:

Manage time and ensure accurate and timely delivery service to our customers. Enthusiastic, great attitude and exceptional customer service skills are a must to join the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Offload variable shipment weight and handle freight equipment properly and in a safe manner to avoid any damage.
Running Linehaul within the Maritimes (3 trips first week and 2 trips second week), from the Maritimes (Cavendish) to New Jersey (Cavendish) and from York (Caterpillar) in Pennsylvania to Fredericton, NB (Caterpillar).
Deliver freight to assigned locations
Maintain company equipment standards.
Ensure timely delivery.
Listen to and communicate efficiently with the customer.
Drive, use equipment and work in accordance with the safety regulation: company rules while following safety procedures and traffic laws.
Report any incident, accident, injury, damage.

Requirements:

Education Required: High School or GED.
Class 1 driver's license with a minimum of 2 years' safe tractor reefer driving experience required.
Proof of COVID Vaccination required.
Familiarity with satellite systems an asset.
Demonstrated ability to work in a
team environment

Clean driver's abstract and criminal search.
Good communication skills.
Able to work in a fastpaced environment.

Work Schedule:

Sunday at 1 pm through the week to Friday with 1.5 day off the first week (3 Trips) and 2.5 days off the second week (2 trips).

Able to lift to 75 lbs. using the proper equipment.
Excellent work ethic and reliability.
Safety conscious.
