is looking for a human resources advisor, you will be responsible for providing support for recruiting, special projects, and typical day-to-day operational transactions for human resources activities.

The mandate of this role is to be an important resource for all aspects of human resources.

As an ambassador for organizational culture, the HR Advisor will encourage and nurture our people's commitment to the organization's values and priorities.

With the support of the existing team, the HR Advisor will participate in the harmonized management of HR practices, the implementation of processes that meet business needs, as well as the achievement of the company's objectives.


RESPONSIBILITIES
Referring to your immediate supervisor, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Play an active role in all human resources functions (recruitment, integration of new employees, training and development, labor relations, health and safety and disability claims management, complaints management, policies/procedures and program administration);
  • Support the negotiation process of collaborative agreements in the region.
  • Contribute to and support the design and implementation of talent attraction, acquisition, and retention strategies.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers in the mobilization and development of their teams.
  • Working in teams with other members of human resources to develop and harmonize human resources policies, procedures and processes at the national level.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and laws.
  • Support the other areas of organizational compliance as needed.
  • Support your immediate supervisor in special projects / objectives.
  • Perform all other related tasks and duties as required by the needs of the business and as assigned.

THE QUALIFICATIONS WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Employee Relations or Business Administration with a Human Resources Specialization.
  • Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of experience in the various key areas of human resources functionality.
  • Experience in project management and team mobilization (an asset);
  • Employee coaching experience (an asset);
OR

  • Or a combination of work and equivalent studies.

HIRING REQUIREMENTS

  • Good knowledge of labour laws, mainly in Manitoba
  • Familiar with responding in a fastpaced environment.
  • Availability to travel, if applicable.
